North Carolina Brass

The North Carolina Brass is a professional brass ensemble comprised of musicians from the Raleigh, North Carolina area and is available to perform as a quartet or quintet. Their library consists of over 250 musical selections from Classical to Jazz, Pop, and Show Tunes.

The NC Brass have performed for the Durham Bulls baseball, First Night Raleigh, at the South Point Mall, the Cary Bond Park Concert Series, the Raleigh Symphony, the Durham Symphony, lead educational concerts for schools, and proudly participated in many wedding ceremonies and church services. 

The North Carolina Brass is available for church services, weddings, parties, special occasions, master classes, private lessons and educational clinics.

Molly Olah – began her violin studies at age four. She is a professional musician who teaches violin, viola, cello for the Johnston County Schools.  She also maintains a busy after school schedule teaching private violin and viola lessons, coaching the Raleigh Children’s Orchestra  and performing with the Raleigh Symphony, the Fayetteville Symphony and the Long Bay Symphony. Molly leads the North Carolina Strings which is available to perform at weddings, ceremonies, parties and any other event that would benefit from classical string music.  Molly is a graduate of New College in Sarasota Florida.  She received her teaching certificate from the University of Toledo and a Master degree in Education from Campbell University.

Dean Olah – is a professional jazz and classical trombonist. He regularly performs with the North Carolina Brass, the Raleigh Jazz Orchestra, the Moonlighters Big Band and the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra. Dean was the principal trombonist with the Raleigh Symphony for ten years, the Durham Symphony for eight years, and the Long Bay Symphony for six years. Dean completed his undergraduate and graduate studies from the University of Toledo Department of Music and Education and a Master of School Administration degree from Campbell University. As an educator he has taught elementary, middle and high school music, and is a former school administrator. Additionally, Dean is a licensed A+ and Network+ Computer Technician, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Trainer (MCT) and holds a degree of Doctor of Education (Ed. D.) from North Carolina State University in the School of Technology Engineering and Design Education. He is employed as an Assistant Professor of Education and applied lessons in trombone for Campbell University.
