Since touring with Bill Pinckney’s original Drifters as Music Director and Pianist, Band Leader Stan Stigall has dreamed of starting a tribute to the legendary groups to which he grew up listening. The passing of his friend Bill Pinkney, amplified this desire, resulting in the inception of The Legacy Motown Revue.
Featuring Richard Carey Figueroa, also known as “Riche Rich”, is originally from New York City, but now calls North Carolina home. During his 30 plus years on the stage and in the studio, he has become known as “The Humble Entertainer”. Richard is the former lead singer for Pop/Soul group “The Chairmen of the Board” and has graced the stage of The NFL’s “Carolina Panthers” during their Halftime Show. Rich has been seen on the Original “Arsenio Hall Show”. Richard brings a wealth of experiencewith him, touring Japan teice, and the U.S., opening for national acts like Darius Rucker, Bobby Kimball, & Boyz II men. Riche brings energy, excitement, and showmanship to the stage. The four talented performers of The Legacy will dance and sing their way into the hearts and memories of your audience, transporting them back in time to one of the most influential periods in American Musical History.

The Legacy entertains audiences with the classic Motown sound from Detroit, exciting, high-energy choreography and impressive showmanship.
Legacy is backed by the 6 to 8 talented musicians and singers in Sound Express. Sound Express is a high energy, Top 40, variety show band, spotlighting The Expressions, a front line including male and female vocalists, saxophone, trumpet, multi-keyboards, guitar and drums. Featuring high energy choreography, colorful costumes and charismatic personalities, Sound Express pays tribute to and playfully remembers some of the all-time favorite musical artists in history.
Sound Express pays tribute to the legendary Platters in the Platters Tribute with accurate renditions of the Platters most popular songs while displaying some of the choreography for which they were also famous.
