The Bucket Brothers
The Bucket Brothers are teenage musical sibling prodigies. They have performed as a jazz duo since 2012, captivating audiences with their sophisticated arrangements, seamless improvisation, and mastery of Jazz standards.
Fans enthuse over their musicianship, composure, and stage presence. They also write and perform original compositions. The brothers played at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to a capacity crowd when they were only 13 and 16 years old.
Performing across the United States from Maine to Alabama and Maryland to West Virginia, they are audience favorites. They have performed at the LEAF Festival in Black Mountain, NC; the Rooster Walk & Arts Festival in Axton, VA; the Ocracoke Festival on Ocracoke Island, NC, and at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
They have appeared on Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour in Lexington, KY; the Pocahontas County Opera House in Marlinton, WV; and at RDU Airport in Morrisville, NC. They have also performed at Carrboro Music Festival in Carboro, NC; Mainstay Cultural and Artistic Center in Rock Hall, MD at retirement communities, weddings, corporate events, and farmers markets.
Logan has been featured in Strings magazine asa rising star on violin. In the summer of 2018, Logan was awarded the Deans Award from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Logan is also a highly accomplished Swing and Jazz guitarist, and enjoys playing the mandolin and electric bass.
Casey began playing piano when he was 5, and he currently plays piano, saxophone and drums. He currently studies with critically acclaimed Music Professor, Stephen Anderson, at the University of North Carolina in Chapel, Hill, NC.
The Bucket Brothers recorded their first professionally recorded CD titled “Our State” when they were 12 and 15 years old. This CD was funded by a successful 8K Kickstarter campaign, and recorded at Overdub Lane recording studios in Durham, NC.
The hard-working Bucket Brothers average about 30 performances a year, and they can play for any length of time desired.
